Extensions

An extension is a great way to increase space, add value and enrich your home and lifestyle. The recent changes in the planning regulations in London, now mean properties could extend under the Permitted Development Regulations, meaning homeowners can create space without having the stress of moving.

When a client decides to have an extension, there are a number of issues to be considered before deciding on the right extension for you. These include: what you want/need from the extension, property and space, planning regulations and budget.

We will personally guide you through the process, assessing the best option for you, your budget and also explore ideas and plans which will best suit you/your families needs and requirements.


This extension involved fitting a steel frame, which allowed us to then rebuild the structure according to the design. This created a large open plan kitchen, dining area and a wet room/toilet was created under the stairs. We fitted sliding doors in the kitchen, which lead straight out into the garden, allowing for connection throughout the whole space. This project was completed within 12 weeks.


The clients wanted to remodel the existing space to create a large communal area, which led out into the garden. It involved fitting a steel cranked beam to create the roof structure which was completed with a zinc roof finishes. A new kitchen was a fitted, and a downstairs wet room was created in the old kitchen space. Sliding doors were fitted to open up the to the garden, creating a large, light and beautiful space. The project was completed in 12 weeks.

Rear Extension completed August 2016

This extension involved opening up part of the ground floor. A bespoke cranked steel frame was installed, which supports the rear addition of the house. This allows the entire kitchen space to be open plan without having any supporting posts in the centre of the room. Sliding doors were fitted to open into the garden, connecting the whole space together and creating a beautiful, light communal area. This project was completed in 12 weeks,


The Process

Stage 1

We will come over to your property at a time convenient for you and have an initial meeting and introduction to discuss the extension.

Stage 2

We will prepare a quote for you to review and where necessary you will need to begin to apply for Planning Permission, Party Wall Agreements and Building control.

Stage 3

A start date will be agreed and we will have a preliminary meeting with you to inform you of the build stages and the process of the extension. You will also be introduced to our team of builders who will be leading your project.
